CLARE PACKHAM
Clare is a theatre director, writer and clown. She is co-founder of artist collective PINCHY theatre. Clare was previously hosted by Hypha Studios as a resident artist in a three-storey disused (and almost certainly haunted) Thomas Cook. Her work is messy, challenging, and definitely not boring.
FINTAN KEALY
Fintan Kealy is a composer and musical director. He held the position of Associate Musical Director at the Central School of Speech & Drama from 2021-2022. His experience in composing spans from mainstream contemporary musical theatre to aleatoric, experimental, and contemporary classical composition.
PACKHAM& KEALY
Together, Clare and Fintan make work that aims to challenge the boundaries of musical theatre. They are two-time finalists of the British Youth Music Theatre's New Music Theatre Award, runners-up for NYMT's New Musical Theatre Workshop, selected for the longlist of the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize 2023, and have had their work presented at schools, Vault Festival, The Other Palace, The Union Theatre and beyond.
Whilst their partnership is predominantly based in musical theatre, they also work together to make experimental theatre, art installations and opera. They believe in prioritising true radical kindness and active listening above all.
